Craftsmen Industries Builds an Expanding Tour Workshop and Player Lounge for TaylorMade
On tour, a golf equipment brand has two jobs at once: build and adjust clubs for its sponsored players, and give those players somewhere comfortable to spend time. TaylorMade Golf Company wanted both in one vehicle. Craftsmen Industries created an expanding tour vehicle that combines a fitted workshop with a separate player lounge and coordinated TaylorMade branding throughout.

The Challenge: Equipment Work and Player Comfort in One Vehicle
Craftsmen Industries designed the TaylorMade trailer to support onsite club building.
At PGA Tour locations, TaylorMade needed to showcase custom-tailored equipment and build new clubs for sponsored players. The brief also called for an elegant, comfortable player space. The concept brought the workshop and lounge together, balancing a practical work area with a player-facing interior.

An Expanding Platform With Two Distinct Spaces
Craftsmen Industries built the TaylorMade trailer to open on both sides.
The trailer opens on both sides to reveal its interior spaces. Fitted workbenches, storage, seating and window-lined lounge areas give the workshop and the player environment their own distinct functions.
Organizing the Workshop Around Equipment Work
Craftsmen Industries fitted the TaylorMade workshop with stainless-steel counters and a central club-building station.
Stainless-steel counters run along both walls, with black cabinetry and tool drawers beneath them. A central club-building station occupies the middle of the bay, while framed product images and TaylorMade graphics identify the space. Recessed lighting, wood-slat accents and a branded podium connect the workshop fit-out to the wider interior design.

A Separate Environment for Players
Craftsmen Industries created an upper-level player lounge in the TaylorMade trailer.
The lounge includes a long upholstered banquette, a low coffee table and a counter with bar stools beneath the windows. Wood-look flooring and textured wall panels distinguish it from the workshop while keeping a finished interior throughout.
One Platform, Two Experiences
Keeping the lounge separate from the workshop means players have a calm place to gather while technical work continues nearby. Both spaces share the same mobile platform.
A Distinctive Presence at Tour Locations
Craftsmen Industries coordinated TaylorMade graphics across the trailer and tractor.
One TaylorMade PGA Tour Technician described the experience this way: "Craftsmen, hands down, had the best ideas, best drawings. They were as passionate about the project as I was. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else."
Outside, the expanded body, raised TaylorMade header and matching tractor graphics establish the vehicle's identity. The result is a touring home for equipment support and players, with a distinctive mobile presence at tour locations.
How Craftsmen Approaches Experiential Tour Builds
Craftsmen Industries designs experiential vehicles for brands, agencies and touring producers.
Its experiential work covers promotional vehicles, box trucks, expandable stage trailers and mobile showrooms for product sampling, pop-ups, brand tours and healthcare outreach. Units can be purchased or leased to fit a tour, and a single unit and a multi-unit fleet are scoped differently. One team carries a project from concept and 3D modeling through fabrication, graphics and delivery.
